Day 25
Preliminary results
We have more than 20 years of experience with brain injury now, and the brain keeps surprising us! We decided before starting this treatment that any results would be great results, and no results would be a great experience here in Mexico. In our experience it has always been impossible to predict where the different trainings and treatments leads us, but we love learning.
This time we decided to do the cytotron treatment and add our years of experience with what the brain needs:
Neuromovements (ABM)
Great nutrition with Hiquid Food and local homemade meals
Sensory stimulation by adding important information through the main pathways to the brain by providing essential oils to smell, a new taste every week for two meals pr day, visual stimulation using the principles of CVI, isolating sounds through hearing and explore new tactile experiences through hands and body and see what happens.
Spirituality like focus time, worship every day in the machine and writing
Novelty is learning about something completely new like history, art, birds and their sounds
Music by composing, listening, vibrations, dancing
Documentation like writing, photo/video and collect for reference and some of it for the blog
This is n short what we call “the programs”; Things we do together with Simen when he is not resting or tanning :)
It is definitely a team effort to decide what to do, prepare material, find the time and so on, but this time Simen has done an amazing job when it comes to initiative, creativity, suggestions, patience, focus, enthusiasm and I could keep going. Imagine having tried for years as a child to move and not succeed. Spending 12-15 years of accepting the situation, not even trying to move, because you just get stuck. Since 2022 he has worked on moving his eyes when playing the eye harp, but that also takes a lot of effort! Still, with great enthusiasm, not knowing if any of this would work, we all just started.. and here are some of the preliminary results. We will update with more results later.. We could not be more proud, happy and grateful for this opportunity!
